What a busy month since our last blog post, Lady Boo has welcomed 4 beautiful & long awaited babies after having pyo (uterine infection quite common in active queens, but she’s made a full recovery with swift treatment from our vets).She has given us not 1 silver baby, but 3 silver boys & a brown girl!
All are doing super and are already big chunky babies.
Cosmo made his debut at Manchester and had fun meeting all the new people. He then went on to win Best Kitten in show and Best of the best overall cat at Doncaster & Best Junior at Maidstone!
Really impressed with how he’s taken everything in his stride, loving going in the car, meeting everyone, being held by children and just doing super against some really beautiful Bengals out competing this season.

Monday 19th August
We took Amba, one of our original Bengal’s and now a retired Queen to LCCW Sandown in July. It was yet another busy show, full of people wanting to see and learn about all cat breeds. Amba is already a Champion under TICA as an adult but this was her first LCCW show as a much older girl and she achieved not only Champion but also her Grand Champion title too!
We have welcomed Yara’s snowballs to the world (Amba’s Grand kittens) and they are growing & developing beautifully. This year they are all Snow Lynx babies with bright blue eyes just like their Dad, Blue.

Another busy month at Butterfly Bengals HQ!
Yara has achieved her Champion & Grand Champion titles for LCWW & we are delighted to announce she is pregnant. Looking forward to having babies arriving soon!
We are out at Manchester CATstravaganza this weekend with LCWW at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre with a very special new addition to the Butterfly Bengals Gang, updates to follow but say hello to Devinespirit Cosmo of Butterfly Bengals!
Leo our original stud & very first Bengal all the way from Canada is officially retired and is now once again our full time family pet. He’s such a loving kitty & we are so thankful for his babies (Halo, RaRa, Yara & Boo) here with us to continue his line & I hope he enjoys many years of his retirement here with us.

Wow what a week! Nova & Choccie have found the best new homes, it was amazing to receive such lovely emails with offers of homes for our girls.
Will miss them both so much. It’s hard not to get attached to kittens but spending so much time with our older girls it’s impossible not to bond with them.
They will both go on to have amazing homes that suit their personalities perfectly.
Fantastic weekend at LCCW Brighton and we are pending confirmation that Butterfly Bengals Yara has earned her Champion title!
Absolutely packed show, LCWW have certainly outgrown their current venue at Brighton Racecourse with their huge following and fans.

Hey all, it’s been a busy month at Butterfly Bengals HQ!
We hosted our first HCM clinic this month with DevineSpirit Bengals and 12 Bengal breeders from all over the country travelling to screen their cats.
I’m delighted to say that all 42 cats are negative for HCM & also PKD (Kidney issues that are only able to be fully tested via a scan and not swab testing alone).
Looking forward to our next one in 6 months time!
This month we have been busy giving the kitten nursery a refresh - always amazes me just how much longer things take with Bengal helpers never far away!
Butterfly Bengals Chocolate aka Choccie had her Junior Championship confirmation from her first show out at London Olympia with LCWW. We are super proud of how she managed in a completely new environment from judges handling her and the thousands of public that wanted to pet our girls. We are now looking for a perfect family for Choccie, so if you have any questions pop us a message.

It was our Leo's 9th birthday at the weekend. Our very first Bengal, a total love bug all the way from Canada.
This weekend we had a fabulous time with LCWW at Olympia London with our girls Yara and Chocolate.
I’m always super impressed at how the girls love the crowds of people, being petted and held by new adults & children alike.
It was Chocolate aka Choccie’s (daughter of Lady Boo & Blue) first show at 9 months old, we are awaiting confirmation but I think we have earned enough points she will be a champion already!
We will post more photos and videos later this week.
Yara, as ever, loves her fans & adores being at shows, she will be next out at the Brighton show on the 29th & 30th March before being mated for her 2024 babies!

This week we are very excited for the arrival of our first babies of 2024, Butterfly Bengals Halo is due soon with a very special boy, QGC DevineSpirits Fire Storm (Quadruple grand Champion).
Talking of shows, we will be at LCWW Olympia this weekend with our girls Butterfly Bengals Yara and Choccie. It is Choccie’s first time out so I hope she will have as much fun as the rest of the girls do. Do come say hello if you’re visiting!
