Vickie
My obsession for cats started in 2014 when fostering abandoned kittens for the Toronto Humane Society while living in Canada.
While there, I met my first Bengals, Leo, his two adorable sisters, their parents and I have been hooked ever since.
After returning to the UK it was difficult to find a Bengal kitten from an ethical breeder that came with the health testing of professional breeders and the level of socialising of home raised kittens so we started Butterfly Bengals.
Our focus is to produce fully health tested, well socialised, beautiful Bengals from cats that are first and foremost our family pets.
I keep kittens from our homebred girls so I know the lines of our cats thoroughly, their excellent health, sociable personalities and beautiful looks. I pride myself on doing everything possible to ensure our cats have the best lives and their kittens have the very best families.
Cat welfare is a big passion of mine, and I believe breeding can be done carefully and ethically whilst progressing the breed standard.
Taking care of the parents to have a pet life balance and not spend their lives in outdoor runs. I believe all breeders are responsible for all kittens they produce.
